How Doam NG collects, uses and protects your personal data.
Doam NG respects your privacy and handles your personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019 and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
We collect your name, phone number, city, profile photo, and for workers a valid means of identification. We also collect the tasks you post or accept, chat messages, ratings, and simulated wallet activity so the service can work.
We use your data to match customers with workers, keep the platform safe, hold payments in the Money Safe (escrow), resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data.
Workers show a public profile with their photo, star rating and number of jobs done. Your phone number is never shared with the other party — all communication happens through in-app chat.
You may request access to your data, correct wrong information, or ask us to delete your account. You can also withdraw consent at any time by contacting support. Some records may be kept where the law requires.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete My Account inside the app, or by visiting our account deletion page at /delete-account.
We protect your data with reasonable technical and organisational measures. Passwords are stored encrypted and never in plain text.
